The Rose Hip

Sofiona Designs just released yet another great pattern. The Rose Hip Jacket, its a cropped style bomber jacket and the pattern includes all sorts of awesome details.

My very own Aspen, finally!

I’ll keep this short and sweet as we just got home from camping and I have a ton of things to put away and not to mention the huge laundry pile that’s staring at me. At first I wasn’t going to write a blog post about my newest sew but then I started posting in the sewing groups on Facebook and I just felt that this pattern really deserves a place on the blog.

For the first time my daughters outfit has me green with envy. She loves it too and has been wearing it for 3 days in a row now.

It was kind of scary seeing Anita in such a cool maxi dress. She suddenly looked so much older. I think she felt it too cause she turned the attitude way up. Needless to say she really loves her new dress.

Happy Anniversary Sofiona!

I’m so happy to be part of this blog tour celebrating Sofiona Designs one year anniversary!  I was so eager to get on this tour I said I would make anything they needed, stay true to pattern or do a pattern hack.  I must admit I had my fingers crossed for getting to stay true to pattern since I’m no designer.  But no luck there – LOL!  My assignment was to hack the Starry Night pj’s, hmm now how the heck am I supposed to do that? Haha!  It took me a couple of months to come up with a plan and now I’m super excited to share what I came up with.

Bonfire time!

Fall is coming and no matter how hard I wish for the summer to continue, I guess its time to accept the inevitable and make the kids some warmer clothes!  First up is Anita in her brand new and awesome Bonfire Hoodie!

The Moss Dress

I just tested for a new to me pattern company and it’s always a little nerve wracking to test for a new pattern designer.  But I’m happy to report that testing for Sofiona Designs was a great experience and I hope to get the opportunity again.
